Penerapan Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika

This study aims to determine the application of Problem Based Learning in improving student learning outcomes after the implementation of Problem Based Learning in class VII B students of SMPN 2 Kretek. The research subjects were 30 students. This research is classroom action research that refers to the Kemmis and Taggart method. This research was conducted in 2 cycles consisting of planning, action and observation and reflection stages. The research data is in the form of cognitive learning outcomes taken by technical tests. Cognitive learning outcomes 66.67% in cycle I and 90% in cycle II. This shows that the application of Problem Based Learning learning methods can improve student learning outcomes.
