Abstract

Based on data from the Ministry of Education and Culture, in the 2020/2021 school year, there were 83.7 thousand children in Indonesia who dropped out of school. One of the factors that influences a lack of interest in learning is devices. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to have fun learning, because it can help children learn more effectively. Research objectives: a) determine the use of AR-based learning media applications for movement and style material, b) determine indicators that show the effectiveness of AR-based learning media. This type of research is Research and Development. The research results obtained from the pretest in the control and experimental groups were 38.37. The posttest score for the control group was 59 and 81 for the experimental group. The n¬-gain score in the control group was 0.68. Meanwhile, the experimental group was 0.8. So that the use of AR-based learning media in learning physics regarding motion and force was obtained in the high category for the experimental group. The indicator that shows AR learning media can provide education as a learning media can be seen in the increase in the N-Gain value of 0.12.
