Upaya Peningkatan Kreativitas Siswa Melalui Model Project Based Learning Materi Ragam Hias Batik

This research is intended to determine the application of the Project Based Learning model on batik decorative materials using Chinese ink media to foster student creativity, another goal is intended to research the improvement of the learning process of batik decoration and create works of art. In this research, researchers used the Classroom Action Research method to apply Chinese ink media to draw batik decorative motifs in class VII of Bina Jaya Banguntapan Junior High School. This application is done to create ideas and try to use new media, of course, at an affordable price to be applied to students so that the media used can be varied through the Project Based Learning model. The research action in class VII resulted in, 1) the progress of fine arts learning activities through batik decorative material with the Project Based Learning model using Chinese ink media, 2) creating batik decorative artwork with a significant increase in each action, the achievement of complete grades obtained after the research was carried out, the average obtained at the pre-action stage was 69.60, while action I was 76.80, and there was an increase in action II of 91.00, and action III of 94.40, 3). The learning activities of students have increased in each action with the evaluation process and several stages of action that have been applied such as the enthusiasm of students in each action actively asking questions.
