Abstract

Many students have math scores below the minimum completeness criteria. One of the reasons is that the teacher has not used the appropriate learning model. This study analyzes the relationship between the Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) cooperative learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in the study were 3rd-grade students, totaling 25 students. Based on the results of the data analysis, shows that there is a decrease in the incompleteness of student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle the incompleteness reached 48%, in the first cycle it decreased to 28% and in the second cycle, it decreased to 12%. While the average value of students also increased, in the pre-cycle the average student value was only 65.00 in the low category, in the first cycle it increased to 74.80 in the medium category, and in the second cycle, it increased again until it reached 83.20 in the good category. Based on these results it can be concluded that the TAI learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes.
